About Bundle

The Freshman Year bundle builds the foundations for the rest of high school. Students read and write with purpose in English I, learn the algebra that every later maths course depends on, study the planet they live on in Earth Science, trace human civilisation in World History, and learn to look after body and mind in Health Education and Physical Education.

Every course is fully online and self-paced. Courses are organised into units of short lessons, with interactive activities, a quiz at the end of each unit, a mid-course assessment and a final assessment.

Courses included (6 courses · 6.0 credits):

• English I (1.0): the reading, writing and language foundations for every later course
• Algebra I (1.0): expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, systems and quadratics
• Earth Science (1.0): rocks, water, the atmosphere and Earth’s place in space
• World History (1.0): from the first farmers to the present, studied through evidence and cause
• Health Education (1.0): body systems, nutrition, mental wellbeing, relationships and safety
• Physical Education (1.0): fitness, training, skill learning and activity for life

Before you start: Algebra I assumes pre-algebra or equivalent.
