About Bundle

The Senior Year bundle prepares students for what comes after high school. English IV covers a thousand years of writing in English and the extended argument that university work demands. Financial Literacy covers earning, budgeting, credit, investing and major decisions. Career Readiness builds a complete application package and interview skills. In Independent Study and Capstone, students lead a months-long project of their own with a mentor’s guidance. Life Skills & Personal Development covers the practical side of adult life: housing, food, paperwork, health care, relationships and handling problems under pressure. Leadership & Professional Development treats leadership as a learnable skill, and students lead a real project of their own. Fine Arts and Creative Expression covers making, understanding and sharing creative work in visual art, music, drama, writing, photography, film and design.

Every course is fully online and self-paced, with units of short lessons, interactive activities, unit quizzes, a mid-course assessment and a final assessment.

Courses included (7 courses · 7.0 credits):

  • Financial Literacy (1.0): earning, budgeting, credit, investing and major financial decisions
  • Career Readiness (1.0): applications, interviews, job offers and succeeding at work
  • Independent Study and Capstone (1.0): an independent project, planned, researched, produced and defended
  • Life Skills & Personal Development (1.0): independent living, health care, civic life and problem solving

Before you start: English IV follows English III. Career Readiness builds on Career Exploration and Planning, and Life Skills builds on Personal Development Skills. The Capstone is for students in their senior year. For the Leadership project, each student needs a supervising adult, such as a teacher, coach or employer, to approve it before it starts.
